Sutter Health Class Action Settlement
In August 2006, Sutter Health agreed to refund as much as $276 million to uninsured patients who had been treated at the hospitals and overcharged. If you were a patient at any Sutter Health hospital (listed below):
- between the dates of September 3, 2000 to August 3, 2006, and
- were uninsured at the time of treatment,
you may be eligible for a refund or discount on your bill.
The deadline to file a claim is January 17, 2007.
