For more than twenty years, Health Access has played a significant role in leading the charge for health care reform in California, and more recently at the federal level as well.

Health Access promotes both universal health care proposals and advocates for specific incremental reforms that promise to provide immediate health care services to California's most vulnerable populations.

Health Access is uniquely positioned among organizations that champion health care reform to work at both the grassroots and senior policy levels to advocate for substantive policies and solutions for consumers. We continue to work to expand health care coverage and access to all, while also improving its quality and efficiency.
