Home Expanding Coverage Fostering a New Debate for Health Care Reform Massachusetts’ Health Care Law

In 2006, Massachusetts made headlines with its passage of a comprehensive health reform bill, which included both an employer and individual mandate. California's efforts, which captured policymakers' attention in 2007 and 2008, has drawn frequent comparisons with the Massachusetts legislation.
